Capcom recently showcased a new gameplay trailer of its Resident Evil Village free VR Mode DLC. It isn’t the only entry in the series with upcoming PSVR 2 compatibility. It came out on Octofor Oculus Quest 2, and is a VR adaptation of the original RE4. It is a completely different title and project. It will be a free game mode available only for owners of the PlayStation VR 2 headset. However, this puzzle is no longer required to progress in the game, but solving it will give players bonus items such as ammo, weapon parts, and extra inventory space.Capcom announced through the official Resident Evil Japanese Twitter account that development for a VR Mode for the Resident Evil 4 remake started. But, as a bonus Easter egg, the clock puzzle that can be found in the gates of the City Hall in the original game, can now be found in the subway station in the remake. Of course, it is no secret that Capcom wanted to make Resident Evil 3remake more realistic than its original counterpart, and it is understandable that the studio thinks that solving puzzles in the middle of a zombie apocalypse is not a likely thing to happen. Who could ever forget the infamous water sample puzzle in the Dead Factory? Or the Clock Tower pictures puzzle? Lastly, one of the endings of the original game is Barry Burton returning to Raccoon City in the nick of time to save Jill and Carlos from being caught in the explosion meant to wipe out Raccoon City. Although Brad still died, he was simply killed by zombies trying to save Jill's life, instead of being decimated by the tyrant.Īnother memorable moment from the original game is the scene when Nemesis shoots down Jill's rescue helicopter, which resulted in its crash to the Clock Tower. While this particular scene still happened in the remake, the location of where it occurred was moved in the early part of the game on the rooftop of a parking lot. Throughout Resident Evil's long history, the series has since produced many gruesome deaths, but it is without a doubt that Brad Vicker's end in the hands of Nemesis from the original Resident Evil 3 is one of the most memorable ones. Unfortunately, Capcom decided not to include this iconic scene in the remake. ![]()
